Totally get the purpose of this, plus with the game not quite there yet this works really well! Would love to see some even smaller one or two episodes tackling problem areas in parks, revamp professor bubble works! Glad to see you still coming up with such creative and fun ideas, keep it up mate
I have not visited Storybook Gardens in YEARS (for obvious reasons), but do enjoy seeing the castle when I walk around Springbank. I was going to do the skating thing this year, but had an injury this winter that prevented me from going. I’ve always wanted to see this park get a major renno like this, so I’m excited to see your ideas! I’m not sure if you’re aware, but this park was actually borne from the original Springbank Park amusement park, which had a wooden coaster called Cannonball… perhaps you could bring back a modern version of Cannonball in your series!
really fun idea! can´t wait to see that coming along
This is adorable. I love this style of build. Something small, detailed, but not flashy. Excited to see how it progresses!
I looooove that you went for this particular concept, it’s very cute and feels like a part of your life! It’s always great when people bring their personal real life experiences to the game, can’t wait to see more of this series! 😊
So excited to see you back in my subscriptions! This is gonna be a great little series 🏰📗
I used to work at Oud Valkeveen, a small themepark in the netherlands that targetted kids around the same age. Love to see where this series is going, especially since I really struggle to have rides at a kiddie size and I really think Planet Coaster (1 and 2) has a huge lack of kiddie rides
The Story not recreated but re-told, just fab! Makes me want to do the same with Pleasurewood Hills which was my childhood local park. Need to stop sulking with the game though first 😜
Great build well done! It will be good to see the originals as we go through the build, I cant believe its been 5 years since your move I remember following you through the journey! Glad you are back and doing well
This is such a fun idea! Happy to see you back and feeling better!
Looking forward to more! I’d love to see storybook get updated, it’s such a stable for Londoners including us who came to London as adults. Once you have a child it’s the place to visit! ❤ Looking forward to more in the series.
Love this. We are from the UK and live in Windsor and absolutely love Storybook Gardens it’s a lovely little place with so much potential! The splash pad is incredible
I used to looove going to see the harbour seals, birds, and deer there when I was a kid in the 90s. The enclosures were far outdated by the time the animals were moved out, but it was definitely a highlight of my childhood. However, I think you're right about the people who are saying it isn't as good as it was back then, lol. I think it kind of suffers from the same fate as Marineland in some ways. It was a stellar experience for the time period, but as animal welfare knowledge has increased, the parks struggled to adapt and now just feel old and don't reflect the nostalgia.
This is such a cute and fun concept for a build series! Really enjoying it already.
This is really nice, Jonti. I always enjoy your building style (even if this is partly a recreation), but also the lore and history you provide. I'm eager to see how the rest compares to the real world version and what you add to it. Great work, as always.
I'm late to the party (ignored YT for a bit) but am still looking forward to this series. I love the concept. Still a bit sad the game isn't quite as advanced as your (and others) ideas yet, but hopefully it's getting there. What I can learn for a possible PZ2 for this: Plan small first.
Just glad you back playing planet coaster. Would love a longer series from you. Builds always great!
I knew as soon as I saw the community tab I knew I was going to love this series
This'll be a fun series I reckon. Your castle is a bit too nice to do the real life jankiness justice. The flags actually move on yours for a start
