I wish these conversations would address the 🐘 in the room rather than the mouse. If there is ample evidence that someone has broken the law, appearances should never take priority over holding them accountable especially if the individual is unrepentant and demonstrates that they will continue to break the law. No if ands or buts

@thelmarichards3288

THE PROBLEM WAS WE DIDNT HOLD NIXION TO ACCOUNT. DO YOU WANT THE PRESIDENT TO THINK HE CAN DO ANYTHING WILL IN OFFICE. THEY PRESIDENTS WOULD BE KINGS

@equus3333

Thank you

@Vanguard-c1u

Mitch McConnell carefully controlled appointments to lower courts, and thwarted Merrick Garland from getting on the Supreme Court. If the majority of the Supreme Court was moderate (and, Trump already negatively fixed that), we wouldn't be talking political intention during investigations. McConnell has given us Trump and Trump's sins.

@bvkronenberg6786

No one has “magic” independence. Every federal employee has a boss in one of the three branches of the federal government. Every employee is accountable.

@jakespivey3716

That was a dilemma that Trump enjoyed creating. He has the audacity of doing his crimes as an act of sheer audacity. It's a part of narcissism and arrogance, which gleefully and willingly embodies.

@simmerin62

But wasn’t he a criminal did he not commit a bunch of assorted crimes.. I think they had a duty to investigate and prosecute him.. How is that Political??!

@rickcortez5190

Now you all know that they've committed the Rico act over and over and over again, and you guys won't prosecute. You do not honor the law doing this.

@johni1726

He's an agent of the Ineligible Bulk.
