I'm head of Security at a factory, and I can tell you that this goes deeper than just this guy. 100% that company he works for is just a rent-a-cop company. They send dudes who washed out of the LEO academy to act tough and wear tactical gear and carry weapons that they have little training over. The fact that he didn't have the proper security licensing while on the job is damning for that company. No reputable security company will let guards work without the proper paperwork in order, that is a liability nightmare. Not only that but their policy encourages basically encourages use of force.

This psycho I went to high school with was put in prison for killing cats after we graduated. When he was released, he got a job as a security guard and got arrested again for pulling a knife on someone he was kicking out of the mall he was a guard for. A lot of people should never be security guards and there obviously needs to be significantly higher standards than what currently exist.
