for a bit of redundancy, you could also set up a dumping station, so after delivering items, it dumps anything it didn't transfer and those items go back into the system ready to be added to the truck again. Because even if you put threshold switches to turn off sending a particular item, you'll still have some that might backup your truck's storage

@porosuo5882

Man this is literally what I used to dream as a kid with my toys now I'm watching someone building it on his own, awesome content keep it up

@raystonesifer7371

Mr Beardstone. You should make the storage like a Home Depot shelf system. With tall large racks and storage drawers

@DaserTheGamer

Beardy you need to make sure the funnel that leads to the storage interface is only turned on when there's a vehicle at the station, otherwise you'll end up breaking your system with an overflow that'll creep up faster than you think.

Really enjoyed this video and the comment section. I appreciate all of the engineering minds sharing the knowledge.

@Mr_Jamin007

To prevent the truck picking up to much of an item that you already have stored in the station storage you could put stock readers there and have them also shut off the loading into the vault at Murphy's.
Similar system could be set up between the station storage and main storage so only the items needed are transported.

@Creepy1YT

Beardy, you could name the storage building “Stu’s Safehouse” … cos it looks like a literal bank 😂

@grmg523

Hey Mr Beardy! Great vid as always.
 I did notice a small flaw with the loading bay thing. The system you made holds three stacks of each item ready to load onto the truck, stopping more from entering the big vault. The problem is the belt that goes from the vault to the storage interface, as it can also hold a few items.

This means that things happen as follows:
The delivery truck docks in the "murphy's pickup" station, locking the brass funnels to keep them from overfilling the truck. Then, when the vault has emptied into the truck and the truck leaves the station, the brass funnels are unlocked in order to fill the now empty vault. THIS is where the problem happens. The first two stacks of items to enter the newly empty vault come out onto the belt that connects the vault with the storage interface, therefore not being counted by the smart observers that limit the stacks per item in the vault. This means that every batch of items transfered by the truck is not totally balanced, which could lead to the overflow problem you explained early in the vid.
Sorry for the long explanation, and hope this helps!
(P.S. i will reply with possible solutions)

Pushing the bogey a block farther back should help with making the movements of the van look more natural :)

Where the phantom rails cross the train tracks, perhaps use tieless tracks for the train, and then have deepslate beneath the tracks?

@timeminecraft6019

Mr Beardy, a suggestion on your loading system for your delivery van. It seems that the conveyor belt used to load the van is constantly moving. The problem with this is when your vault is filling, some items leave the vault instantly and onto the belt. This results in the thresholds resetting and allowing more stacks of the item into the vault (essentially ruining the purpose of the system in the first place). I’d suggest adding a clutch to the conveyor belt rotation line that receives an inverted signal from the station, the same time the links receives a signal, thus the conveyor belt will stop when the van has left, and won’t act as extra storage which allows more stacks than it should.

Kind regards and Merry Christmas.

14:14 yeah ok that got me good 🤣🤣🤣
It really looked exactly like it 🤣🤣🤣

@Kellen6795

Beardy you need to shut off the funnel/conveyor that goes into the van when you pull away otherwise the conveyor will fill up and cause extra items to go into the van

the phantom rails do look a bit like the planks underneath the normal rails. maybe put them over the whole cross section!?

@roselynne7632

every time you post a video i look at the title and chuckle saying "you WOULD do that!" and then have a blast watching your vids. youre my favourite mc creator and have gotten my partner and me into create. thanks for everything you do!!

Ah yes, a new episode.
I’ve been waiting for exactly 22 hours.
