I did the Becker CPA review. It was the best of the time 30 years ago.

I used Becker like all former Big 4 interns did. It worked well enough, though I needed to supplement with Ninja for the Audit section to pass. Really glad I never have to take it ever again, I'd never pass

From the academia perspective, yes to Gleim. The pass rate is much higher for what I have observed.

I loved surgent for study materials. Got a 74 on my first attempt then went 4 for 4 after the reality of what it was going to take to pass set in.

Hi. Quick question: Why did you opt to run an accounting firm for tax work, rather than a law firm? I just passed the bar and I have a CPA firm and a Law Firm. I’m trying to decide which one to dissolve.

It's harder than passing the Bar. My wife studied for weeks. Most do not pass on their first attempt. But you will get paid well. Now, they're introducing AI, (it's terrible right now)but there will always be people that don't want to mess with it.
