We have them at my school, and oh my goodness they are horrible. They aren’t healthy and the pizza ones are frozen. As a Muslim when that’s the only vegan option it’s really frustrating when I have to eat frozen pizza for lunch. They also do not include fruits and have a side of miniature cookies.

Thank goodness the lunch ladies I had in school were cooks and only thing we got unhealthy every Friday in fall was apple or cherry cobbler but the apples came from a orchard and it was great food

We need to do bettter. No child in America should have to eat that prison food otherwise known as school lunch. With that being said many children suffer from food insecurity and school lunch could possibly be the only meal they have.
