Took them long enough. What's amazing is how nice the trigger becomes once you drop the chassis into a frame firmer than wet bubble gum.

I had the same thing happen carrying full size Echelon. Everytime I sat down in my car I’d hit the mag release into the seat and seat belt latch/release and the magazine would get ejected and I wouldn’t know it until later. I’m kind of surprised they made it that way as well thought out as the rest of the pistol is. Apex makes reversible mag release for the full size though that works very well and still has a stock look. So I’m sure it’ll probably work on the compact too.

Walther and canik have near dangerously light triggers. When I was new to shooting, I inadvertently double tapped a Walther. The Echelon has a very fine trigger, more duty oriented.
