Of course it's not a laptop or a actual tablet It's a phone.  People don't buy Swiss army knives to replace their entire toolbox. But they will keep  Their  Swiss army knife on them at all times  Because it's convenient and useful And for the most part can handle basic jobs and sometimes more.

Tiny front screen that is not usable is a no go for me. Huawei mate x2 is still the best foldable.

This seems to be a serious step backwards on Samsung's part.  They are betting all their apples on one gimmick, the fact that the device can fold.  Yes it means a little more screen real-estate when unfolded, but it seems to be more of a "that's cool" or "thats" fancy" factor they are relying on.     Additionally there is no more practical use for it, outside of multitasking, which even on a business level, this device seems like something you would use in a pinch just to get by until you got to a tablet or laptop.  
  For the price, the specs just suck.  Hardware wise, I'm not impressed.  Not because it's not powerful, but because you can find the same and even better specs in other devices for far less of a price tag.  S-pen support?  Sucks if you have to purchase it separately AND there is no place to store/charge it on the device.  This means that you would have to also find a case that supports both and then an additional charger for the pen alone, meaning yet another adapter to plug in, albeit not as often I'm sure.  No SD card support is a no no.  This is one of those things that has always separated Apple from Android, and to remove it also removes a buyers ability to expand their storage at their leisure or as needed.  Not hating on Apple, I've had a number of their devices over the years.
  No, I think Samsung screwed up way too much over the last couple of years with their releases and the Fold 3 is going to further prove that.  They have played a terrible hand, and if they don't do something very soon they will be the one to fold.
