I really would love to see carnival games stalls and arcades get added. They'll be perfect for plazas and to fill in empty spaces. Plus they're everywhere at theme parks, adding that extra bit of realism.
Don’t know if you noticed.. but in the gamescom build there were about 2100 ish scenery pieces. In this deep dive build.. over 3100 pieces. So they’re still adding things. Which is absolutely great! There’s no such thing as too many scenery pieces!
3:11 The way you can have more than one slide attached to a single platform and the guests can go to either one makes me hopeful they will have dual loading stations for coasters.
Jonti that was absolute gold with the bar scene and cheering. Freaking hilarious!
I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet but under the pathing tool there looks to be 3 different "modes" and from what I can tell there's general paths that everyone can walk on, the next one looks to be queue paths for guests to line up at rides, and then the last one appears to maybe be dedicated for employees/staff only which would be awesome to help free up normal paths from like mechanics just walking around with park-goers
If I wasn't already excited, animatronics with multiple animations was the thing that put me over the top. I LOVE that feature!
Kinda soppy comment but you look so happy in this video and it made it 100% more enjoyable. I wouldn't have picked up Planet coaster or Zoo without your cotent. So glad you have you back Jonti!
I just can't wait for the release of "Planet Coaster 2" with all the new features they introduced to it, I want to play it right away.
Can’t wait for the indoor water park creations
I died laughing with your "kissing girls" segment 😂 thank you, that was priceless!
At first I wasn't sure I'd be jumping on PC2 day one, but honestly now I want to just to experience all the new tools and improved tools. Funny enough, more than anything, this is making me look forward to a Planet Zoo 2 with similar and further improvements. 😂
I can’t wait to see all of the new animatronics, the two we saw here look amazing
Flumes and slides are a little confusing, but the main difference is that slides are ones that jsut go down or down in a straight line, whereas flumes tiwst and turn with water gushing around in a narrow channel
There's a small thing I feel like a lot of people might have missed is during the initial animatronics they place down, you can see a hint at some of how the management works. At 5:01 you can see the stall they placed down with an electric icon over it, showing that it's missing power.
Jonti, how dare you. It is absolutely NOT time to move on from the paths 😂 I could watch that beautiful, easy path-building all day haha. It’s just such a nice change. Just kidding, of course. Thank you for continuing to keep us update on this! I much prefer your summaries over watching the videos myself — more fun this way. Also, I can’t get over those flume supports - I never thought I would call ride supports beautiful, but damn, those sure are.
I think all of the crazy reveals of stuff are definitely being saved for just before the game comes out
I've still got my fingers crossed for parades and scare mazes 😭😭. But i have a feeling if they were to ever come they would be in an "event dlc"
What I found very interesting is how they put the shop and bathroom/chaning room right on top of the path without any pathfinding issues.
The fish bestie sign in the whiteboard lol Damn you, i feel targeted by the kissing girls part of rct3 hahahaha
