In pemdas (please excuse my dear aunt Sally)
You do Parathese first ()
Then exponents ^
The multiplication/ division
(Whichever one comes first is the first one you do for example if division comes first you do that if it's multiplication you do multiplication)
Lastly addition/subtraction
(Same as multiplication/division)

As someone in 5th grade, let me explain. Pemdas is a math method you MUST use in order of operations. First, you must do the parenthesis if there are some. Next, division or multiplication (whatever comes first working left to right). Then, addition or subtraction (also whatever comes first working left to right.).

PEMDAS:

P: parentheses and/or grouping symbols

E: exponents and/or powes

M: multiplication

D: division

A: addition

S: Subtraction
