I absolutely love how your level came out, it's really good for a first level. It looks like a showcase level.
Glad to see this getting plenty of attention, and not a bad effort for 2 hours with minimal time for playtesting! For anyone who hasn't seen MB64 before you can also change the level theme, change the individual tile textures, the music and all sorts of other cool stuff is possible!
SMM fans of 2015: “It’s not possible!” SMM fans of 2019: “It’s somewhat possible!” SMM fans of Now: “It’s possible!”
fun fact: if you go into the editor and go to the environment tab, and do the Konami code, you get a minecraft theme.
Nintendo: sorry we are not making 3d mario makers Fans: aight ill do it myself
18:06 bro almost died. Mario was like grabs the cliff lol😂😂
Uh Nintendo, actually do this PLEASE
Thanks!
Oooooh…it’s like Minecraft Mario! I like it!
Always wanted something like this! absolutely love a 3D game editor (like portal 2, hat in time or Void maker) Nice to see we finally have one for Mario 64 And so far it appears to be more user friendly with how the placement of the blocks works
Some games you play are just my dream. Awesome vid! And that Koopa will be stuck in that flag forever:_btgDead:
Nintendo Must make this game real, this style, opens a new world of trolling and Kaizo ideas.
This is incredibly well-done! Play more Mario Builder 64! :_btgSupermario::_btgSupermario:
This project is actually incredible, designing your own levels looks actually easy, it’s almost like as if nintendo created their own toolkit to design those levels ,but i don’t think they had such luxury tool. Sure they will had tools to design those characters and objects but nothing else. But either way, it would be sooo cool if nintendo will come with their official sm64 maker toolkit for the switch to courage players making their own levels and share them with each other😁
There’s cheese to be had at the part where you press the switch and have to race to the top before it runs out. You could jump from the bottom to one of the gaps and take it as a shortcut
This is a really nicely made level Darby, especially for doing all this in 2 hours! Sure, there's a few odd things here and there, but finding those is what makes the testing fun. This is something that Nintendo really should consider making for Switch 2, it'd be pretty fun to build these kind of levels on a console. Though I'm not opposed to a SMM3 that adds in stuff that's still missing in SMM2. The creators of this did a fantastic job with this though! :_btgSupermario:
Even though your level has two issues I love it! It would be cool to see more of your creations. They should come out with a 3D Mario Maker. This will have to do for now.
Im glad that the creator released this to the public, unlike other mario maker type game creators.
10:54 you can use the Heve-ho
