I’m thrilled that more and more handguns seem to be going through a metal frame resurgence. I sincerely hope, but also sincerely doubt, that HK would grace us with a metal framed USP.
I bought a PDP last week, so it only makes sense that they announce a newer better version this week 😂
Just bought one this week. I have no idea why anyone would EVER waste money on [B]lock when Walther exists.
I have a 5" full size PDP, with a steel guide rod, and black cerakote brass backstrap. Red Dot + rail mounted light. Love the extra weight and heft. The SF PDP must feel great.
We need a comparison video with the Rival-S, as this appears to be Walther's answer to that release.
Super impressed that you got the steel frame in for t&e. Glad Walther knows who can be trusted to provide valuable information for the audience. Great intro on the pdp match!
aww man. I need this in my life. I loved my pdp.
Thanks!
That beaver tail looks significantly improved. I genuinely wish that Walther had made their beaver tail closer to this out of the gate.
Man the PPQ Match SF and the standard full size PDP are such sweet shooters. I can't imagine how much better a Match SF PDP will be.
3:11 I saw that pocket car HM, glad to know you are a fellow collector.
The regual Walther PDP is my favorite full size 9mm that I own. It's great for open carry or duty use. I'm sure this one shoots even better!
That trigger is crazy, looks great.
I picked up a Q5 a few years ago and I am very excited to see the PDP adopting the steel frame as well. (Jealous, yet excited.)
It’s hard for my mind to process this. I kid you not! I have spent the last couple of days going back and forth in my mind 😂 The wife told me to treat myself this Christmas as buy that Staccato P I’ve been wanting for a while. While watching videos on it, I would take out my my PDP Full Size and F model and dry fire. I absolutely love those guns!!! Actually the F model might be one of my favorite guns, period! BUT I want a race/trophy gun now so of course the Staccato came to mind, BUT I love me some Walther so I was checking out the Q5 Match SF but wasn’t crazy about the grip size and mag capacity. LITERALLY LAST NIGHT I was gripping my PDP wishing they would make a comp version of this gun, but brushed off the idea as crazy and went back to Staccato videos. Most of them were your videos. Then you drop this. You’re messing with me. You conspired with Walther to play a sick and twisted mind game on me. Now, just admit it and we can still be friends!
I rented a PDP from my range yesterday because they just got one in. I was blown away with the trigger and ergonomics. Compared to my Glock 17, if feels like a cheat code.
I wonder, if Walther isn't competing with its own Q5 Match SF now. In IPSC countries, both pistols are designed for production division competitors, where CZ Shadows, Tanfoglio Stocks and perhaps some other brands represent the high end pistols. One more model to consider now! David, I like the competitor's point of view in your channel. It's a most welcome change from the ubiquituous EDC/defensive perspective, that other US guntubers have. Thank you!
Ah nice. I had a q5 that shot well, but didn't care for the short grip and ended up getting rid of it. Have a pdp with the full size grip, but it's a bit snappy with the plastic frame, so this is a good mix of the two
The PDP was my first gun, and I love it. Man I wish I had the money for the steel frame....
