I was in East Africa on a humanitarian mission in 2005/2006. A guy in our group was moving sandbags and got hit in the eyes by a mozambique spitting cobra. His eyes were washed with saline and he was flown to Germany. He recovered fine which was attributed to the saline flush.
We call this spitting cobra π ΰ€ΰ₯ΰ€¬ΰ€Ύ ΰ€ΰ₯ΰ€Έΰ€°ΰ₯ ΰ€ΰ₯ΰ€¬ΰ€°ΰ€Ύ ππ

Lovely cobra β€ I would love to visit Africa and see some of the amazing snakes they have there. Particular favorites are bush vipers (Atheris sp) I think they look like little dragons, the Boomslang, of course Gaboon and Rhino vipers, puff adders, there's too many to list. π Lovely footage.
I like snakes, and the one you showed in the video is very pretty. What's its scientific name? Does it have a common name in English?
I respect snakes and their space, but this character is really dangerous. It loves entering homesteads after prey like frogs and mice. Often they end up in sleeping areas of humans and sai humans get bit. To me it is a nasty piece of work.
Still very calm , would n't want to meet it though , seen some white cobra's in video's think they spit as well
Angry human parent: " that's strike1 kiddo!... You need to learn manners!" Snake inner verse: "Cameraman won't die on principle.. so I'll attack camera first... It's boring "
Wow beautiful and dangerous snake π β€
