I genuinely hope he's gonna make it through to the final. Between many soulless pop songs, this one feels like a breath of fresh air. It feels very honest and authentic. This brought back all the memories of my mum's breast cancer diagnosis about 9 years ago. She was someone who struggled so much with anxiety, depression and agoraphobia and never conquered that, plus battled with not ending it all for my whole life. But when she got her diagnosis, something in her clicked and she found the strength to go to support groups and go through all the chemo, injections and into surgery. After a year, she found out it was on her spine and was terminal. And I'll never forget that moment that she took me aside, away from my sensitive dad and adult younger sister and said "Allthose years I wanted to end it... now I want to live and I can't". This song just makes me think of that moment. I'm crying as I write this. It's a beautiful one, but it will never win, because it's using a topic that either is far too personal and serious for the event, or people will have that idea of it being a 'sob story' to win votes. So whatever it ranks, I wish the artist well.

Kinda overhated. It's a pretty song and the performance is good aswell. Sadly because the lack of juries in the semi it might be difficult to qualify but fingers crossed. Love from Finland! 🇸🇮❤🇫🇮
