i love how the kiszka twins go back and forth with their answers. its like they are wired together in a certain way.
I think it is so cool that most of the albums in your bag are are not hard rock albums but more of music that represents the broad spectrum of many different types of music.
Now I know why this 76 year old woman likes this group. I graduated in 1965 so these inspirational selections go along with my teen years. I will be seeing this group in Philly on September 19th. I am so sorry I got rid of all my hippie clothes but it is only now that I am embracing that feel that makes you feel alive. I was too timid in my teens to experience Woodstock so I am making up for it now.
LOVE the amount of female artists mentioned. Many people don't appreciate how influential these women were during the rise of rock!
This sure took me back to the 60s and 70s when I grew up! This is why Greta Van Fleet felt like going home again, and their new music still does! I love their deep intelligence and appreciation for the music itself.
Loved the Melanie acknowledgment.. such a unique voice and does not get enough of the credit she deserves
Yes, he just mentioned Taj Mahol... Blessed you guys. Your parents are to be commended giving you a well rounded musical background. Tapestry was one of my favorite albums. You all have beautiful old souls. I will be spending my birthday tomorrow hearing you guys live at Dickies Arena. I can hardly wait. I work at Dickies, but had to be able to watch you & not work. 🎉 Melanie is great, too.
I grew up listening to Melanie Safka, it’s one of my middle names (Safka) and also who my mother is named after! Hearing Josh talk about her made me sob I love her so much 💛
Danny's choices were the sound track of my teenage years!
For those who don't know, "The Weight of Dreams" used to be called "Black Flag Exposition" which instead of using Fleet's original lyrics, Josh used a segment from "Lay Down (Candles In The Rain)" by Melanie Safka. It's safe to say Melanie is definitely an inspiration for Josh as a whole
These youngins have great taste and obviously grew up in houses with great music. 😊
just saw them live in Nashville they were on fucking fire especially Jake best concert i’ve ever been to
Joni Mitchell's Blue is probably more influential than all of the others combined. All great choices, but I'd probably like to hang and listen to Danny's collection the most.
Found this band a few days ago on my bday, now on my bucket list to see live.. amazing guys
Thanks for educating a young fanbase on the blues and folk music. Nice dudes.
Thank you for reminding me about Carol King Tapestry. As a kid I used to see this album on my Mom’s shelf not knowing what it was. That image instantly took me back to early childhood. :)

I love the fact at how young they are but almost all of the albums were from the 40's50's60's 70's&80's and a couple newer bands i think its great kudos to them for loving the music style that they are playing...
