Across Iraqi Kurdistan and RIGHT UP TO the Iranian border!

In this video I’m on the road across Iraqi Kurdistan and right up to the Iranian border – The former front line of the Iran Iraq war.

Starting in Erbil we’ll be stopping in Koya town with its history of the spice road, before moving on to Iraqi Kurdistan’s more modern second city of Sulymani – Kurdistan’s city of culture.

Next we’ll move on closer to the border, visiting the town of Halabja before finally heading to the mountainous edge between Iraq and Iran, going to towns that were on the former front line of the war, and stepping right up to the border itself.

Along the way they’ll be some tough stories from Iraq and Kurdistan’s dark and bloody past, contrasted against day to day life in today’s Kurdistan.
