What can we learn from STV in Scotland?

In 2021, the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Bill became law. Welsh councils can now upgrade their voting systems to STV, the system they use for local elections in Scotland.

Mat Mathias from ERS Cymru travelled to Ayreshire in Scotland before the 2022 Scottish local elections to find out how voters, candidates and councillors make the most of their fairer voting system - and to see what can be learned for Wales.
