The Track of Hurricane Harvey (2017)

lets be real, the year of 2017 was crazy, all sorts of things happened.


the same can be said for the North Atlantic, especially Hurricane Harvey, which was a monsterous Category 4 hurricane which was considered to be the wettest tropical cyclone in US History. it is also tied with Katrina of 2005 (non inflation, 2024 USD) as the costliest tropical cyclone globally. Harvey started as a normal tropical storm, and was subcumbbed to hostile conditions, mainly wind shear before its historic moment was recorded. all of this caused Harvey to be retired in April of 2018, and was replaced with Harold, which got its first sucessful use in the 2023 season.
