As the howling wind rages outside and snow blankets everything, I find myself comfortably tucked up in bed, reveling in one of life's absolute joys: listening to the winter symphony.

During the months of December and January, my aim was to capture the essence of British winter weather. While some recordings were lost (the wind blew the windshield off my microphone) the majority remained usable. Through careful tweaking, lengthening certain segments, and skillful layering, I have crafted a truly serene and tranquil soundscape: the Polar Vortex sound.
