Why you should visit the Korean Countryside. If you're thinking of escaping Seoul for a few days to explore the Korean countryside, here are the two cities that I would recommend: Jeonju & Mokpo. Personally, Mokpo was really shocking because there were so many things to do. Not only were there good food, but the scenery, and the peacefulness that you can only find in a Korean coastal city.
