Several smartphone brands disappeared from the Indian market due to intense competition, shifting consumer preferences, and financial struggles. HTC, BlackBerry, and LeEco failed to sustain profitability amidst the dominance of Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo. Spice, Videocon, iBall, and Alcatel couldn’t establish a strong foothold in the budget segment, while Panasonic and LG exited after failing to compete in the affordable market. Sony and BlackBerry succumbed to declining sales and the rise of Android and iOS. Huawei lost ground due to weak product development strategies, and brands like Gionee, Meizu, Coolpad, Black Shark, and Asus Zenfones struggled to stay relevant. Ultimately, these companies couldn't adapt to the rapidly evolving smartphone landscape, leading to their exit.
