Hong Kong City

Hong Kong is a modern metropolis along the South China Sea. Formerly being part of the British empire, power was transferred back to the People's Republic of China in 1997. The city is known for its exceptional skyline, arguably one of the most beautiful in the world, its deep natural harbour, and is generally considered to be a fusion of Western and Chinese culture.

The video is meant as an introduction into Hong Kong, and contains various topics, relating mostly to history, culture, and the economy. The material was made in 2010, on an overland trip from Qingdao in China to Karachi in Pakistan.
